Q. We handle fresh products and use a lot of foam containers to keep them cold. What is troublesome, however, is the disposal. What shall we do? |

The Situation: |

The customer was interested first in our garbage compressors. But unfortunately, the compressor is not ideal for foam containers, as they are already compressed to a certain degree. Therefore, TAIRA asked if they would be interested in our E-containers. |

TAIRA's Solution: |
|
|
E-containers have high insulating capability, and are easily recycled. Also, they are durable and easy to wash, and their quality meets HACCP standards.
These containers may initially cost more than simple foam boxes. But if you consider the costs of collecting and disposing of foam boxes, and of using a lot of space to store them, the E-containers actually cut the yearly cost in half.
The customer is happy with this solution and is now using 500 boxes. What they are happiest about is our attitude toward customers. Our relationship has developed further since then, and now TAIRA is responsible for the maintenance of their whole distribution system. |
